I'm pleasantly surprised how much footage there is from the 1959 Porgy and Bess... it's less remarkable these days because the whole film is now accessible here on YT but at the time this is probably the closest people were going to get to seeing the film due to its being banned from distribution by the Gershwin estate

I thought that Mokey would say to the lady in a harsh tone of his voice after he smacked his face; "Don't you dare smack me!" After Mokey jumped on the bed to get that baby to stop crying, but the bed was about to break, and he slid right where the baby was laying and knock the baby over as well, and his parents had to come up to the bedroom and check on the baby and save her from getting hurt. I wished they added that part.
